Commuters watching PORN in public warned they 'will be reported to the police'

Transport for London has said unwanted sexual behaviour will not be tolerated

TfL has warned people they will not tolerate this behaviour

Commuters watching porn in public places will be reported to the police for their behaviour, Transport for London warns.

Passengers have been urged to report any such behaviour, even if they do not believe it to be a criminal offence, as is still deemed a valid complaint.

Siwan Hayward, TfL’s head of transport policing, said: "We do not tolerate any unwanted sexual behaviour on our transport network.

"We work closely with police taking all reports extremely seriously.

Passengers don't have to report a criminal offence - they can simply report that someone is watching porn in a public place

"If someone has made you feel uncomfortable, for example by viewing pornographic material, please tell the police or a member of our staff."

The announcement comes after TfL launched an investigation into allegations that a London Underground worker was allegedly seen "watching porn" at Wembley Park station.

In April 2015, alongside the British Transport Police and Met Police, TfL launched "Report it to stop it", a campaign aimed at encouraging people to report incidents of unwanted sexual behaviour experienced on the transport network.

Passengers have also been said the same applies for all public transport including buses.

A spokesman for the London Underground added: "You can speak to the bus driver to report any incidents which make you feel uncomfortable, which includes the viewing of pornography.

"All bus drivers are trained to deal with incidents and report them so the police can investigate."
