Hounslow residents are invited to attend a meeting with police aimed to ease concerns over the closure of Chiswick Police Station's front counter .

Officers will be on-hand to answer questions about general crime figures, police actions, ongoing plans and, of course, what the closure of Chiswick Police Station will mean.

The meeting takes place on Monday (December 4) between 7pm and 9pm at Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace, Chiswick, London, W4 4JN.

Members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to send in their questions via Twitter.

Tweeters should use the Hashtag #ChiswickLive and direct their Tweet to @MPSHounslow.

At the beginning of November, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan broke the news that 37 police stations across the capital would be closing due to government cuts to police spending.
