Hammersmith author Lotte Moore is celebrating her 80th birthday with three new books.
The writer will have two new children’s books - Sandie & Echo and Saved , coming out shortly, and the second edition of her autobiography Snippets of a Lifetime is released on Friday (March 11).
She has also just finished a book for children about her own experiences as a five-year-old in the Second World War .
Ms Moore, who has written 14 children’s books , celebrates her landmark birthday on March 15.
She said: “People ask me how I keep my imagination going and I tell them it’s the children, I absolutely adore them - it’s the adults I can’t stand!”
