Chelsea FC will hold an open top bus victory parade to celebrate its Premier League triumph.

It will be held on Sunday, May 28, and could see Antonio Conte’s team celebrate a historic double if they are able to beat Arsenal in the FA Cup the day before.

Several roads in the area will be closed as a result, the club has warned.

The parade will see start Chelsea’s heroes on an open top bus, and accompanied by the club’s academy team, which won an Under-18s Premier League title and FA Youth Cup.

Chelsea will hope to be celebrating the Double, as they did in 2009-10

The buses will depart Stamford Bridge from the west entrance at midday before travelling east along Fulham Road, turning right into Hortensia Road, then right into King’s Road and into New King’s Road.

It will end at Eel Brook Common at around 1pm.

Addressing the impact on the community, the club said: “We have been continuing to work closely with all relevant local agencies to ensure that the parade takes place in a peaceful and safe manner, with the least possible inconvenience caused to local residents.

The victory route Chelsea will take on May 28

“To this end, for public safety reasons, some roads will be closed and access to other roads restricted from 7am on May 28.

“Roads will be re-opened in the afternoon once crowds have dispersed, the clean-up operation has been completed and as soon as it is safe and practicable to do so.

“Every effort will also be made to re-open the Fulham Road as soon after the parade as possible.”

The club also said a full clean-up of the parade route and Eel Brook Common will be carried out to return the area to normal as quickly as possible.
