Chelsea Bridge has reopened to traffic after it was closed because of a bomb scare on Friday (January 20) afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.30pm after reports of a suspect package left on a bus.
However, the package was later deemed to be safe and not suspect, and the bridge reopened at 3.40pm.
The closure of the road caused traffic delays and congestion , while buses were also diverted.
On Twitter, users said police had stopped all traffic and pedestrians using the bridge. Images also showed the bridge taped off by police.
Congestion is still reported in the area despite the bridge reopening.
