Uxbridge is set to become a hotbed of exotic supercars again on Saturday (July 2) for the annual Ferrari Owners' Club barbecue.

Around 50 luxury Ferraris are due to attend this year's event at the GVE London supercar dealership in Cowley Mill Road.

Ferrari owners are all welcomed to join in the fun and admire the Italian engineering.

The event is actually a private meeting and is only open to members of the owners' club.

Earlier this year a supercar worth £10m was hit with a £120 parking fine in Kensington .

Founder and managing director of GVE London, David Rai, said: “It's an honour and a privilege to welcome the Ferrari Owners' Club to our showroom here in Uxbridge.

“We'll have an amazing array of 50 Ferraris on show here at the showroom.

“It's a great event that I'm really proud to be able to have here in Uxbridge.”

The club is the only official Ferrari owner's club in the UK and the first BBQ event was held last year.

There will be live displays and tutorials from the servicing and detailing teams the GVE as well as entertainment and of course food.

For anyone worried about missing the Formula 1 action on TV, the qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix will be screened in the showroom.

There will also be a mini-racing simulator and ping-pong at the event, which runs from midday to 4pm.

Motorsport fans left wanting more after this event can also treat themselves to watching the British Grand Prix on a giant screen in Hammersmith, during a day of sporting indulgence on July 10 .
