Commuters faced a rush hour nightmare on Thursday, December 1 with train delays and cancellations causing problems for passengers.
Those attempting to travel on the services described the scenes at some of London's biggest train stations as "Chaos."
Some Southern Rail and Gatwick Express services were delayed for over an hour, and the anger was clear over social media.
Earlier signalling problems at Balcombe in Sussex have been blamed for the disruption, and although the issue is now fixed, delays are expected to continue.
Southern Rail warned passengers that services running from London Victoria could be disrupted until the end of service on Thursday, December 1.
The chaos comes ahead of planned Southern Rail strike action, which is expected to disrupt services from December 6.
