The Central Line was suspended early on Tuesday (June 6) after a tree fell on the track around White City .

The incident happened before the fork for Ealing Broadway and West Ruislip branches of the line.

Service on both branches west of White City were suspended for around 20 minutes at 6.36am while TfL worked to remove the obstruction.

Services began running again at 6.57 am, just in time for the morning rush hour, however severe delays persisted for some time.

Tube passengers faced severe delays which lasted for around half an hour, while minor delays continued on the line until around 8am.
