British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attack on a man waiting for a train.
Detective Constable Graeme Knox, who is leading the investigation, said: “Shortly after 11pm, the victim of this attack was standing on platform one at the Bakerloo line station.
“It appears that someone on another platform took exception to him, crossed over to his platform, and assaulted him. The attack left him with injuries to his arm.
“All members of the public have the right to travel on the tube network without fear or violence, and the victim of this attack is no different.
“We will do everything in our power to identify the person responsible and prosecute them accordingly.
“We believe the man in the image we are issuing today can help our investigation. Do you know who he is? If you do, we want to hear from you.”
