A person has been rushed to hospital after emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing in Hounslow .

Paramedics were called to Vicarage Farm Road, Heston , on Tuesday (September 13) night, just before 11.30pm.

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) said a patient was treated at the scene and taken to hospital "as a priority".

The LAS was unable to confirm the patient's sex or age, and could not give any details about their condition.

getwestlondon has contacted the Metropolitan Police Service , but has yet to receive a response.

It is understood the incident took place close to the junction with the A4 Great West Road.

An LAS spokesperson said: "We were called on Tuesday September 13 to reports of a stabbing at Vicarage Farm Road.

"We sent two ambulance crews to the scene. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance. The first of our medics arrived at the scene in under two minutes.

"We treated a patient at the scene and took them as a priority to a hospital in west London."
