This eye-catching new carpet has been rolled out at a west London film studios responsible for some of Britain's most iconic movies.

It now graces the corridors of Twickenham Film Studios, which has helped created big screen hits from The Italian Job to The Martian.

The bespoke design, modelled on a sound wave, was created by carpet manufacturer Brintons to be used in the studios' sound centre.

Sarah Draper, the carpet manufacturer's commercial marketing manager, said it strove to reflect the spirit of the independent studios while considering practical concerns.

"The sound studio is a heavy working area, so the carpet properties had to ensure it reduced sound transform and remained resilient," she explained.
