Shocking video and images show a car that crashed into a Brent bus stop on Wednesday (November 1).

Emergency services were called to the road traffic accident in Dudden Hill Lane near Willesden Green at 12.05pm on Wednesday.

The female driver of the car was the only person injured and was treated by London Ambulance Service at the scene.

She was later taken to hospital where she is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed she was still in hospital in a stable condition on Thursday (November 2).

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 12.05pm to reports of a car in collision with a bus stop on Dudden Hill Lane.

"Officers from the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service attended.

"The driver was treated at the scene before being taken to a central London hospital where she remains in a stable condition; her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"There were no other injuries reported."

Road closures were in place between Dudden Hill Lane and Willsden High Road while emergency services attended the incident and were reopened later that day.

A police investigation into what happened is ongoing.
