The Metropolitan Police and charity Crimestoppers would like help in tracing down some of the police's most wanted this Christmas.

Some are wanted by the Met Police and others are wanted in connection with crimes further afield, but are believed to have connections in west London.

Wanted in connection with murder

Shane O'Brien, originally from Ladbroke Grove, is wanted in connection with a murder in Middlesex.

21-year-old Josh Hanson died following an incident at Re Bar in Field End Road, Eastcote in 2015.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

O'Brien has connections in London and a £20,000 reward is available for information leading to his arrest and prosecution.

The Met Police renewed its appeal for information in October marking a year since the incident.

It is thought O'Brien is in Dubai.

Speaking last month, detective chief inspector Noel McHugh, from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "O'Brien was quickly named as someone we urgently needed to trace and we have tracked his movements across Europe and then to Dubai where we believe he still is."

Wanted in connection with sexual assault in Peterborough

Police want to speak with these two men following a serious sexual assault in Peterborough.

Officers believe they will be able to assist with the investigation.

They are believed to be in the Hayes, Middlesex area.

A woman in her 20s was reportedly raped on October 3 between 4.30am and 7.30am at the Travelodge in New Road, Peterborough.

Detective Constable Rachael Ryan, from the Rape Investigation Team, said: “This is a serious incident which has had a significant impact on the victim.

“We are keen to identify the men in the CCTV images as we believe they will be able to assist us with our investigation.”

Wanted for drugs offences

Romanie Ricardo Gayle is wanted by the Met Police in connection with drugs offences.

He is aged between 20 and 25.


Absconded from Sudbury open prison

Leslie Warden failed to return to prison from temporary leave in 1998 whilst serving a sentence of five years six months’ imprisonment.

He was convicted at Harrow Crown Court on November 28, 1995 for wounding, handling and deception offences.

Hounslow Police has appealed for help in finding a number of wanted individuals as part of its #BadventCalendar campaing.

Wanted for Indecent Assault

Zhi Ming Cao is wanted in connection with an indecent assault at Turnham Green terrace in Chiswick on May 25 2005.

He is 59-year-old.

Wanted for motor vehicle interference

25-year-old Daniel Owens is wanted in connection with motor vehicle interference in Chiswick on October 16 this year.

Wanted for a bench warrant

Hounslow Police are trying to trace 33-year-old Mustapha Abdi.

He is wanted for failing to appear for trial on April 18 2006.
