More than 50 job roles have been created after a international DIY and home improvements firm has announced the opening of a store in Hanworth .

Bunnings Warehouse has announced plans to open a shop in Twickenham Road early next year and along with that comes a number of job opportunities.

There are both full-time and part-time jobs available, and all team members will receive hundreds of hours of training in both product knowledge and specialist tasks, such as paint mixing.

Roles include team members for customer service retail and activities organiser team members, with some roles paying around £10 per hour.

Anthony Sawh, Bunnings Warehouse complex manager, said: "It is a great time to join the Bunnings Warehouse team here in Hanworth.

"We have fantastic opportunities available in all parts of the store, both full and part time.

Bunnings is a leading retailer of home improvement and garden products in Australia and New Zealand, and the opening of this store is part of a £500million investment into the UK and Ireland markets.

The company has opened four sites in St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes, and after buying Homebase in February last year, now operates from 251 Homebase trading locations.

In total, it employs more than 12,000 people.
