Brothers accused of hosting drug-fuelled parties throughout the night have been booted out of their home in Heston for good.

Hamed Mohamed, 37, and Abdullah Mohamed, 36, made life a misery for neighbours at Fenton House, in Biscoe Close, according to Hounslow Council.

It said there had been a catalogue of complaints from other tenants in the tower block about hard drug use, late-night noise and antisocial behaviour in the brothers' flat.

A police raid was carried out, joined by council housing officers, on April 22, 2015.

The council's neighbourhood wardens, professional witness, police and housing officers gathered the evidence needed to obtain a closure order in July so the property could be boarded up for three months.

Tough new powers enshrined in the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 were then invoked to seek an outright possession order, which was granted by Brentford County Court last Friday (October 2), the council said.

It was the first time the council had used the new powers, which came into force earlier this year, to evict nuisance neighbours.

Councillor Katherine Dunne, cabinet member for housing, said: "Everyone deserves the right to peace and quiet and the right to go about their daily business without being confronted by drug paraphernalia.

"These two were more than just a nuisance and totally ignored our requests for them to change their behaviour. We had numerous complaints about them.

"My congratulations to our wardens and Hounslow Housing officers for their diligence and hard work on this case."

As well as losing their home, the brothers were ordered to pay rent arrears of £2,155 and legal costs of £429.50, the council said.
