Police have placed a poster saying "no girls here" on the door of a home previously used as a brothel in Southall.

Southall Green London Police Team (LPT) investigated the Western Road property following complaints naked women were "loitering outside".

Officers visited the home recently and used a closure order, leaving the property empty.

Following the closure police placed a poster on the front door to notify the public it is no longer being used as a brothel.

The poster reads: "Brothel closed. This property is now empty. No girls here."

The property sits opposite the Shri Guru Ravidass Temple and Featherstone Primary and Nursery School.

Neighbours complaining of customers "knocking loudly on their front door waking them at 2am asking how much it will cost them to have sex" were a factor in the investigation, officers said.

LPT launched the investigation on March 10.

Officers said eight Romanian women found in the property left of their own accord two weeks later.

No arrests have been made so far.
