LFB statement

A spokeswoman for the London Fire Brigade said:

We were called at 9.08am this morning (Tuesday June 13) to Transport Avenue, Brentford.


Around 22 tonnes of rubbish was gutted by the fire at a waste transfer centre.


Four fire engines attended and 20 firefighters and officers from Heston, Chiswick and Ealing.


It was all under control by 10.25am.”

A lot of rubbish has been set alight, the London Fire Brigade has told getwestlondon.

A spokeswoman for the Brigade added:

A waste transfer station, possibly a recycling centre, is where a lot of rubbish is alight.
