Police in Brent are appealing for witnesses after a distraction burglary in which three men tricked their way into a home and forced her to remove her jewellery.

The incident happened between 5.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday (March 24) at an address in Harlesden Road.

Three men claiming to be employees from the waterboard tricked their way into the address, telling the resident they were there to carry out some work.

Once inside they became aggressive towards the 60-year old woman, pushing her and forcing her to remove her gold rings and earrings.

They then made a search of the address before leaving with more jewellery and cash.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing a black jacket and black trousers.

Suspects two and three are described as men, 5ft 8ins tall, of heavy build and were also wearing black jackets and black trousers.

Police would like to hear from you if you were in the Harlesden Road area around this time and heard or saw anything suspicious.
