A Scandinavian Airlines plane travelling from London Heathrow Airport to Stockholm has been forced to make an emergency landing after reports of a bomb threat.

A spokesperson for the Swedish airport in Gothenburg, where the plane has landed, has said arrivals to the airports are on hold as the police operation continues.

It was diverted to Landvetter and landed at around 10am (9am GMT), where forensic teams began to search the jet.

All 72 passengers were evacuated from the plane.

More as we hear it.
