Now, we know online shopping is not for everyone, so here's some advice for you shoppers out there who would rather try before you buy.

Unfortunately, unlike online with Amazon, you will have to wait until November 25 to get your hands on a bargain.

One shopping centre to keep your eye on is the intu Uxbridge Shopping Centre.

This west London shopping centre has already announced it's Black Friday opening times, and for those of you busy working on the Friday, don't worry, the centre is open after office hours with deals available all weekend.

So, no excuse to start your Christmas shopping.

The centre is open:

  • Friday 25 November to Saturday 26 Nov from 9.30am to 7pm
  • Sunday 27 November from 11am to 5pm
  • Monday 28 November from 9.30am to 7pm

And they say there are plenty of deals to get your hands on: "Not only will you receive the most exclusive deals that our intu Uxbridge retailers have to offer.

"We’re extending Black Friday over the entire weekend to make sure you can fly on over at your own convenience."

Another shopping centre perfect for a Black Friday deal is Westfield. On November 25 they are open from 8am until 10pm.

Last year, it provided shoppers with tips on how to grab the best deal, and with one just on our doorstep in Shepherd's Bush , we are all ears.

They advise you to follow a few simple rules:

1) Make a game plan

"Make a list of what you need (rather than just want), where to get it, and the highest amount you can spend – and stick to it" say the shopping centre.

That way you don't risk spending all of your months wages in one go.

2) Know your terrain

Maps at the ready!

" Hone your navigation skills and plan your route so you don’t waste any time aimlessly wandering," Westfield advises.

"If you’re not sure where to start, think about what you need the most, and make that the first thing on your list"

Will you be shopping for the best deals this Black Friday?

3) Be prepared

It sounds like obvious advice, but if you are unsure of what you want before you get to the shops, well you will be disappointed as Black Friday is certainly not the day to start browsing!

Westfield's advice is: "Getting the full low-down on the best deals is essential if you want to stay one step ahead of the opposition (which, naturally, you do)."

4) Turn up with a squad that is ready for action

Now, there is an unwritten rule that Black Friday is only for the most serious of shoppers. It really is dog eat dog out there.

Yes, a day out shopping with you mum or gran can be lovely, but on Black Friday, maybe not. So we say - troops assemble!

Advice from the experts: "If you’re heading out in a pack, you’ll need to pick your troops wisely – no dawdlers allowed.

"If your friends can’t match your pace, then you’re at risk of missing out on brilliant bargains – its as simple as that"

5) Rucksack at the ready

And finally, there's nothing worse than losing your arms under the weight of all of your bargains, so take a rucksack to ensure you have your best weapons (your arms) free.

The shopping centre say: "Appropriate footwear is also key – leave your heels at home and select your comfiest trainers for the task."

Oh and don't forget you loyalty cards and coupons!
