Black Friday, you've all heard of it and no doubt seen images of shoppers scrambling over each other to claim the final fridge on sale or the last remaining discounted plasma screen TV. But what actually is it?
The term "Black Friday" comes from from across the pond, in America. Referring to the day after Thanksgiving when it's tradition for retailers to slash prices for shoppers.
In the UK, it falls on the final payday before Christmas , so with personal banks full, shoppers are at the ready.
It's an annual event offering customers discounted goods, anything from a woolly jumper to a cooker, you name it, everything is included in the Black Friday extravaganza.
This year, Black Friday falls on November 25, when shoppers can grab a bargain both online and in store.
