Jeremy Vine has been caught up in yet another road rage incident while cycling through Kensington after a motorist said to him “f*** your mum”.

The BBC presenter was cycling along Kensington High Street when a car approaching from the opposite direction turned right into a side street, cutting in front of Mr Vine and causing him to brake hard and take evasive action.

As the Radio 2 DJ, and presenter of Eggheads and Crimewatch, remonstrated, the driver shouted out the obscenity.

Mr Vine, a passionate advocate of cyclists’ rights on the highways, pedals to work in central London each day from his home in Chiswick.

Earlier this month Shanique Pearson was jailed for a road rage incident in Hornton Street, Kensington, after she yelled vile abuse at 51-year-old Mr Vine.

That footage was also captured on the cyclist’s helmet camera, and subsequently viewed online millions of times (see video below).

In it 22-year-old Pearson can be seen swearing at Mr Vine and kicking and pushing his cycle .

She had been convicted in March, and was jailed for one month after her appeal was dismissed by a judge.

Mr Vine also sparked a debate in January after posting a video on his Facebook page appearing to show a car driving very close to a cyclist.

He captioned his latest scrape with a motorist: “You meet a better class of person in Kensington”.

It was posted on his Twitter account and has already been viewed hundreds of times.
