Basketball legend John Amaechi visited a west London college too send time shooting hoops with youngsters.

The retired NBA star was at Imperial College London on Monday (12) for a grass roots event to promote the sport.

The Englishman, who played for Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets while plying his trade in America, was taking part in the Looney Tunes JR NBA Clinic, organised by the NBA and Warner Bros to promote this evening’s (January 15) Global Games London 2015 match between Milwaukee Bucks and New York Nicks at the O2 Arena.

Speaking at the clinic at the South Kensington college, Mr Amaechi said: "These are the best times of the Global Games, as you really get to involve the community. The children are able to have contact with real players, an experience which isn’t regularly repeated in many other sports, and they have been unbelievably excited."

Also taking part in the games were Warner Bros very own legends Bugs Bunny ands Daffy Duck.
