A moped rider remains in hospital following a crash with a car in Hounslow last night.
The rider, a male, was rushed to a west London hospital with leg injuries which police have said are non life-threatening.
Officers from Hounslow police and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene of the accident.
A LAS spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.15pm on Tuesday, September 13, to reports of a road traffic collision at Bedfont Green Close.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.”
“We treated a patient, a man, at the scene and took him as a priority to a hospital in west London.”
Hounslow MPS tweeted they were dealing with a road traffic collision and the area was subject to delays.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A car was in collision with a moped.
"The rider was taken to hospital with leg injuries which were non life-threatening.
"The driver of the car stopped at the scene."
No arrests have been made.
On the weekend a serious crash on the M4 in which Crystal Palace defender Pape Souare was airlifted to hospital , left traffic at a standtill for hours.
