Ark Burlington Danes has opened a new primary school - meaning it can now provide a child’s complete schooling education.

The Burlington Danes Primary Academy opened on the same site as the secondary school in Wood Lane, White City, meaning it is now an all-through academy.

The new primary school will provide education for three to 11-year-olds, and on September 14, 45 four-year-olds started school there.

Primary principal Lisa Crispin said: “All the planning and preparation has finally come to fruition and I am delighted to welcome our first reception classes to Ark Burlington Danes Primary Academy. The children look wonderful in their new uniform and they have quickly settled in to their new school.

Michael Ribton, principal of Ark Burlington Danes Academy, said: “We are pleased and proud to welcome the new primary school children into the Ark Burlington Danes family. The all-through academy will enable us to deliver student-centred learning opportunities for children throughout their school career and will ensure smooth transitions between each Key Stage.”

Places are still available for reception-aged children at the academy.

Anyone interested in a place for their child should contact the school directly on 020 8735 4950.
