The incident involved a 16-year-old girl who was travelling on the 423 bus along Bath Road, just after 11am on Wednesday September 2.

Officers are appealing for the public to help identify the suspect described as an Asian man, in his mid 30s, with short dark hair who was wearing a light coloured shirt.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's roads and transport policing command said unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously.
