Air Ambulance called to 'stabbing' at Hillingdon fish and chip shop

We are getting reports that a man has been attacked with a knife at a fish and chips shop in Hillingdon this afternoon.

We've heard reports a man was stabbed in a fish and chip shop in Ryefield Avenue, Hillingdon, this afternoon.

The road is now cordoned off between the junction with Windsor Avenue and the row of shops and the U2 bus route is currently being diverted.

The incident is believed to have taken place inside Ryefields Chippy.

In 2012, police were appealing for help to identify a yob who threw a drinks can at the owner of the chip shop, hitting him in the face.

The London Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
