A motorcyclist has been left with minor injuries following a collision with a car on the A40 Western Avenue on Monday morning (June 12).

One lane has been closed on the A40 just after Target Underpass in Northolt .

Police were called to the scene at 7.40am on Monday, to reports of a car in collision with a motorbike.

Traffic is queuing back to the Polish War Memorial

As we bring our blog to a close, Transport for London is reporting “free flowing” traffic following earlier delays on the A40 Western Avenue.

One lane was closed following a collision between a car and a motorbike just after the Target Underpass.

Police were called to the scene at 7.40am.

The motorbike rider sustained minor injuries.

A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police told getwestlondon:

Police were called to the scene at twenty to eight to reports of a car in collision with a motorbike.

The rider has minor injuries
