A burst water main and emergency repair works on the A406 North Circular Road have caused lane closures and delays on the nearby A40 during rush our.
Congestion has built up to the Iron Bridge and on the A406 Gunnersbury Avenue to the A4000/B44491 Gunnersbury Park.
There is also a broken down vehicle in Hanger Lane causing another lane closure.
Congestion has also built up on the M40 because of an earlier crash on the M25 at Herfordshire.

All lanes are now open on the Hanger Lane Gyratory following the earlier burst water main repairs.
Residual delays remain on the A406 southbound from Harrow Road and northbound Hanger Lane is queuing from Queens Drive.
A40 eastbound is slow moving from Greenford Flyover.

Very slow traffic due to earlier roadworks on A406 North Circular Road at A40 (Hanger Lane Gyratory), congestion on A406 Gunnersbury Avenue (North Circular Road) to A4000 / B4491 Gunnersbury Park, on A4127 Greenford Road to A4127 / A40 Greenford Flyover and on A406 North Circular Road to The Iron Bridge. All lanes have been re-opened.
The two outside lanes were closed outside Hanger Lane Station on the gyratory.
Burst water main
Transport for London have confirmed that the burst water main is being repaired by Thames Water.
A statement from TfL said: “Last updated 16:57 Wednesday 05 April 2017 : Southbound traffic on the A406 towards the gyratory is queued back to Brentfield Road. Tailbacks on northbound Hanger Lane are back to Uxbridge Road. A40 eastbound tailback to Greenford Flyover. Lane restrictions remain in place on the gyratory due to emergency Thames Water works. Expect delays.
“Hanger Lane Gyratory (Southeast carriageway) - There are collaborative works in place resulting in the closure of lanes seven and eight (of eight lanes). Currently, Thames Water are repairing a burst water main.”

TfL say there is a broken down on the A406 blocking a lane.
There is also queueing traffic due to earlier accident on M25 in Hertfordshire clockwise between J18 A404 (Chorleywood) and J19 M25 (Watford), congestion to J16 M40. All lanes have been re-opened.
There was a brief rolling road blocked in place to recover the vehicles.
