State of the roads
This is how the roads are looking as of 8am.
Looks like traffic is moving very slowly along the A40 towards London from the Denham roundabout.
Also looking pretty congest on the Oxford Road heading into Uxbridge and in Long Lane down towards Hillingdon.
There is a tree on the carriageway
Highway England are also reporting that one lane of the A40 is closed heading into London between the M40 and Swakeleys Road.
This is because of a fallen tree blocking the carriageway.
It’s unclear at the moment if this is connected with the crash slightly further along the road, but we will bring you updates on this one as we get them.
