Emergency services were called to a road traffic accident in Cranford at 11am on Thursday (October 12).

The A30 Great South-West Road Westbound is currently closed.

One person is believed to have been injured in the incident, between A4 Bath Road with Burns Way and A312 Causeway with A312 The Parkway.

There is queueing traffic and congestion on A4 Bath Road to A312 The Parkway (Jolly Waggoners Round and on A3006 Bath Road to Vicarage Farm Road (Hounslow West Station).

The incident is also affecting A312 Causeway Southbound between A30 Great South-West Road / A312 The Parkway and Fagg's Road.

All emergency services are on scene and have closed the road heading towards Hatton. A312 Causeway is also closed Southbound while the accident is dealt with.

Diversion - Bus routes 203, 423 and 482 are affected.

TFL confirms road reopened

The A30 Great South-West Road Westbound has reopened following a car crash involving three vehicles at 10:30 am, TFL confirmed.

A TFL spokesman said: “The A30 Great South-West Road Westbound has reopened following a traffic incident. Drivers should still expect some residual delays within the next hour.”

London Ambulance Service confirmed that it treated one woman at the scene of the accident which it attended at 10:38am.

She was treated for back and neck injuries and then taken to hospital.

A London Ambulance spokesman said:

“We were called today at 10:38 to reports of a road traffic collision on the A30 at the Causeway.

“We sent ambulance crews and a first responder in a car to the scene, with the first of our medics arriving in three minutes.”

“We treated a female patient at the scene for neck and back injuries and took her to hospital.”

London Fire Brigade update

London Fire Brigade confirmed that it attended the car crash that involved three vehicles at 10.36 am.

Fire crews released one person who was trapped inside a vehicle.

The incident was attended by two fire engines and one fire rescue service team.

The incident on Great South-West Road was confirmed to be over for LFB at 11:43.
