The person struck by a train at Holland Park Underground station on Wednesday (November 30) during the evening rush hour has not suffered life-threatening injuries.

British Transport Police (BTP) said the paramedics treated the 52-year-old man and he was taken to hospital.

They were called to the tube station at 4.52pm, and Transport for London (TfL) said the incident had a major impact on the running of the Central Line.

The line was suspended between Marble Arch and White City until 6pm, with severe delays running on the whole line until 9pm.

BTP is not treating the incident as suspicious.
