Rugby fans living near Twickenham Stadium have been offered heavily discounted tickets for this year's HSBC London Sevens competition.

Adults living in parts of Whitton , Twickenham , Isleworth and southern Hounslow can get tickets for the series finale on May 21 and 22 for just £10 - a 75% discount.

Juniors living in those areas will pay just £5 to watch the high-octane spectacle, and 100 free tickets are being given to each of the 22 schools in the Rugby Football Union's (RFU) Kick Start programme.

RFU chief executive Ian Ritchie said: "We are glad to be offering the local community the chance to enjoy the HSBC London Sevens.

"Local residents and school groups can look forward to an action-packed weekend in a friendly atmosphere, with a focus on fantastic food and running rugby, as the teams prepare for Rio 2016."

The RFU has made 5,000 community tickets available for the finale of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. Only those with postcodes beginning TW1, TW2, TW3 2 or TW7 7 are eligible.

Local residents wishing to buy discounted tickets must have an RFU e-Ticketing account. For more information, visit englandrugby.com/TwickenhamCommunity .
