Readers have registered their unhappiness with mobile phone providers EE and Vodafone after they both came bottom of a Which? customer satisfaction survey.

Both achieved a score of just 50% in an annual poll, which was based on more than 4,000 customers' experiences by the consumer group Which? to be breanded the worst mobile phone providers.

The industry watchdog said that only one in five EE customers would definitely recommend the company to a friend or family member and just 24% would recommend Vodafone.

Stuart Mantle said on Facebook: "Constant price hikes to "contracts" with appalling reception as soon as you enter a building.

"If it were not for Wifi calling on my handset my phone would be utterly useless indoors. Sat in waiting rooms its clear who has EE - its all the people looking pissed off with zero signal!"

Jason Shipp said: "Been with Vodfone for many years and had many issues with their accounts system and rubbish customer service centres.

"Their 4G is rubbish and funny they make a great thing about how good it is. The coverage is so much better in other countries inc. Portugal and Lanzarote.

"But ... where I live, they are the only company who have a signal, but no 4G and very flaky 3G."

Liz Blasby said: "Was with Vodafone for twenty years in the end gave up as I'm disabled and needed a mobile signal that's good. And it wasn't Vodafone.

"Most days I couldn't ring out and when your laying on the floor after a fall and you can't get help.

"My husband rang Vodafone several times but they wouldn't help. So we're now with Tesco much much better and cheaper. No regrets for changing."

But not all of you were critical of the providers. Sally Lloyd said: "Ive been with EE ages and have no complaints at all, had a recent issue with my phone and their customer service and support team and their staff in store couldn't have been more helpful... I defo wont change providers."

Karen Toon Crowton added: "Been with Vodafone over 15 years brilliant customer service and signal. These surveys are utter rubbish."

Others seemed to think other mobile phone providers should be branded the worst. EkeneandChloe Onuoha said: "Add Three to the list! Had no signal anywhere!

"Despite being a customer for over 10 years they done sod all to fix it and still expected me to pay a stupidly high amount each month.

"Needless to say I waved bye bye and went to O2. Not had any issues since!"
