Tesco is recalling its Oriental Kitchen chicken chow mein meal because it has been incorrectly packed.

The dish includes some ingredients from the supermarket's chicken curry dish which contains egg, milk, mustard and sesame.

These items are not meant to be in the chow mein meal and therefore are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to the ingredients.

If you have bought the meal and have an intolerance to the above items do not eat it.

Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund - no receipt is needed.

To check if your chow mein ready meal is affected check the batch code.

The batch being recalled has the code: L 069 F.
