With Jeremy Corbyn's surprise announcement that he will be taking part in the BBC's leaders' debate just hours before it airs, we have created a tool so you can rate each politician's performance.

Theresa May won't be taking part in the debate, a position she has held since calling for the snap General Election on June 8.

The Prime Minister has argued her time is better spent answering the questions of real people rather than squabbling with politicians on a podium.

We want to hear what you think of those that are turning out.

Simply use the slider below to rank each participant and then submit the scores to see how others see it.

Mr Corbyn had originally said he wouldn't take part in the debates if the PM didn't but has since changed his mind, announcing suddenly during a rally in Reading that he was heading to Cambridge to take part in the televised debate.

The Labour leader invited the Conservative leader to join him on the stage, but she retaliated by saying: “I’m interested in the fact that Jeremy Corbyn seems to be paying far more attention to how many appearances on telly he is doing.

"I think he ought to be paying a little more attention to thinking about Brexit negotiations.”

Both leaders took part in a "debate" where they were questioned separately by Jeremy Paxman and Faisal Islam of Channel 4 and Sky News, but were absent from ITV's leaders debate weeks earlier.

Mrs May will be sending a surrogate to the debate, Home Secretary Amber Rudd, who is running for re-election to her Hastings & Rye seat.

Amber Rudd will be standing in place of the Prime Minister, who is campaigning in Somerset

The debate comes the day of a brand new YouGov poll which predicted Brits could wake up to a hung parliament on June 9.

Joining Mr Corbyn and Ms Rudd will be joined by Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron, UKIP's Paul Nuttal, SNP deputy leader Angus Robertson, Green co-leader Caroline Lucas and Plaid Cymru's Leanne Wood.

The debate will be shown live at 7.30pm on BBC One, moderated by Mishal Hussain and will begin with short statements from each leader before they answer questions from the public.
