Here's how to put a poppy on your social media profile picture to mark Remembrance Sunday

At this time of year millions of people across the country come together to remember the sacrifices of our armed forces past and present.

As a small way of marking Remembrance Day, we have created an interactive gadget which you can use to show your appreciation for our armed forces.

The tool will let you put a poppy onto your social media profile picture.

It's very simple to use. Just click on the upload image button and choose your photo.

The tool will then add the poppy onto the picture and you can download it to use wherever you like.

A two minute silence will be observed at 11am on Saturday (November 11).

Remembrance Sunday parades and services will also be held across west London.
