Aldi is recalling its Madagascan vanilla extract because it was incorrectly packed with Moroccan almond extract.
Although the label around the neck of the bottle refers to Moroccan almond extract, the product may still be a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts (almond).
If you have bought the product and have a nut allergy do not use it.
Instead return it to the store you bought it from for a full refund.
Aldi has issued point-of-sale notices to its customers to make them aware of the recall.
The supermarket has also contacted the relevant allergy organisations to make them aware of the issue.
