Two lanes on a stretch of motorway near Heathrow are currently closed after an overturned van.

Police were called to reports of the overturned van at 7am on the M4 westbound, junction 3, in between Sipson and West Drayton.

Officers said there were no reported injuries but that they expected the road to be opened shortly.

Police are still at the scene.

Drivers are currently facing congestion between the M4 westbound J4, A408 and J4b, M25.

Last month a woman was taken to hospital following a collision in London Road , Isleworth, near the junction with St John's Road.

A collision had occurred between a vehicle and a female pedestrian.

Officers were called at 1.08pm on Thursday (June 23) to the collision which caused road closures.

The woman was in her 40s but officers said no arrests had been made.
