An investigation is under way following an alleged sexual assault next to a Greenford gym on Monday (June 20).
Officers were called at 4.30pm following an allegation of a sexual assault in Bedser Drive.
Onlookers described officers as cordoning off a pathway adjoined to Bedser Drive, with red and white tape, next to David Lloyd Sudbury Hill.
The pathway is said to be an access point for people to get to the gym from Bedser Drive.
Police were said to have left the scene at around Noon on Tuesday (June 21).
Met Police said that so far no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
In 2005, teenager Jeshma Raithatha was raped and murdered in a woodland in Greenford, close to David Lloyd Sudbury Hill.
Viktor Dembovskis, from Latvia, was given three life sentences.
