Homes in South Harrow have reportedly been flooded and trains running between Reading and Paddington are facing delays after London was hit by further bouts of flooding.

The capital is set to be hit by further downpours today (September 16) after the Met Office issued a flash flood warning.

National Rail said that trains running between Reading and London Paddington are facing delays.

Met Office said the rain is expected to continue until around 6pm.

Roads in Harrow and Ruislip have been waterlogged, and reports suggest that some homes in St Margaret's Avenue in South Harrow have been flooded.

Images show cars travelling through Northolt Road in South Harrow, which has been severely hit by the floods.

Further images also show waterlogged roads in Ruislip Manor.

A Virgin train has also derailed from Watford junction to Euston after it derailed after smashing into a landslide and hitting another train at around 7am this morning.
