Rain which caused large bouts of flooding across London this week is set to clear across the capital for the weekend.

There are no warnings for London on Saturday (September 17), where temperatures will range from 14 to 17 degrees, or Sunday (September 18) when temperatures will range from 16 to 20 degrees.

It will be cloudy on both days, according to the Met Office.

The forecast comes after London was hit by severe bouts of flash flooding during the week.

On Thursday flash flooding hit Uxbridge after a spell of thunderstorms, which came at around 4pm.

Then on Friday, roads were left waterlogged and commuters were facing delays after thunderstorms during the night.

Trains running between Reading and Paddington were delayed, and reports suggest homes in St Margaret's Avenue in South Harrow were flooded.

Rain is expected to continue until around 6pm in London today.
