The third YUM W13 food festival had a real buzz to it with more than 800 people throughout the day.
Organiser Cassie Greenwood, 37, of Northfields, hosted the event created to get the community together at the Forester pub in Leighton Road on Saturday (September 27).
Ms Greenwood said the most popular stalls were Amalfi Caffe whose pasta dishes were chosen by many running the Ealing Half Marathon the next day, Kathmandu who did a spread of curries and starters and Thai @ The Forester who did golden parcels, sesame prawn on toast and a variety of Thai curries.
The 37-year-old mum said: “It was a really fun day. People said it was a lovely event which makes it worthwhile.”
Other stall holders included Silva Lining with their Caribbean bites, Buttercream & Daisies who had cakes on offer and Richardsons selling sausages.
Children’s activities on the day were a treasure hunt, food themed crafts and biscuit decorating.
Music on the day was provided by Uke’n Boogie and Westbound Piccadilly.
The next event is likely to take place in May. Anyone interested in having a stall can email YUMW13@gmail.com.
