Your chance to nominate Hillingdon hospital staff for award

The public is invited to nominate those who have gone the extra mile at either Hillingdon Hospital or Mount Vernon Hospital for an award.

Members of the public are being invited to nominate hospital workers in Hillingdon for an award for going the extra mile.

Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Hillingdon Hospital in Pield Heath Road, Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospital in Rickmansworth Road, Northwood, has launched its annual staff awards.

The public is invited to vote in the Compassionate Care category, which recognises individuals or teams that excel at 'seeing the person in the patient'.

The other categories are Quality and Innovation, Outstanding Demonstration of CARES Values, Outstanding Team, Natalie’s Award and the Chief Executive’s Award.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday, February 27.

Postal applications can be submitted by writing to Staff Awards, the Furze, Hillingdon Hospital, Pield Health Road, Hillingdon, UB8 3NN.

Alternatively, email staffawards@thh.nhs.uk, visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/THH_Public_Nominations, or fill out a form at the main reception of either hospital.
