Youngsters were hardly able to rein in their enthusiasm as they made model horses to celebrate Chinese new year.

Children aged seven to 11 took part in craft sessions at Heston and Osterley libraries on Saturday.

They created the equine models to celebrate the Chinese year of the horse, which begins tomorrow (Friday, January 31).
