A young man was stabbed in the leg after being chased by a group of men and now police in Brent are appealing for witnesses and information.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was assaulted in Willesden Lane at the junction of Kingsley Road on Sunday August 23 at 1.30pm.

He was stabbed in the leg although his injuries are considered not life threatening.

Prior to the incident, the suspects had been in a barber shop in Willesden Lane and after the attack they ran off towards Kingsley Road.

A 20-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and he has been bailed to a date in mid-September pending further enquires.

Two other men police would like to speak to are described as a black man in his early 20s and of slim build who was wearing a dark hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.

The second suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s and of athletic build. His clothing was a white, long-sleeved top, dark coloured trousers, and black and white trainers.
