A YOUNG motorcyclist was killed when crashed into a car at the weekend.

Police taped off the scene at the top of Northfield Avenue, West Ealing, while they searched the area for clues.

The 21-year-old rider crashed his Kawasaki bike into a beige Volkswagen Passat at about 10pm Friday (17) near the junction with Mattock Lane.

Part of that road was also sectioned off for several hours while police guarded the car involved.

The biker was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem is scheduled for today (20).

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and bailed until December.
