BUDDING giants of the theatre are needed for all aspects of the next production by the Heathrow-based Concorde Players.

The group which formed over 60 years ago are looking for talented performers of all ages to join them for fun and frolics as part of their forthcoming production.

If you can act, sing or dance you could be part of the cast of their next pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk which has been written by renowned panto author Alan Fraym and will be staged in January. This follows their previous show Eurobeat - Almost Eurovision which took place in the summer and also Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood which was the panto they staged back in January.

It’s not just performers that the group are looking for they also need people with different skills to help then put on a show; including set designers, musicians; costume designers and anyone with a talent for sales or customer service for promoting shows, selling tickets and welcoming patrons.

To become part of the magic simply go along to the Open Evening & Auditions which will be held on Monday (23) and Thursday October 3 at 7pm at the Concorde Club, Cranford, TW5 9PQ. No experience necessary – just talent and enthusiasm.

Rehearsals will start on Monday October 7 and the show week is January 20-25 2014. If you are interested in auditioning for a principal role but are unable to make those dates, please contact the show’s director Craig Howard at chairman@concordeplayers.co.uk.
