You could be the star of this year’s Harrow Arts Centre pantomime.

Each year, the Uxbridge Road centre in Hatch End puts on a panto in December, with this year’s show being Jack and the Beanstalk, and this is your chance to get involved.

Enthusiastic local people over the age of 16 who enjoy performing arts but do not necessarily have previous experience are welcome to apply to audition.

Cate Gordon, participation programmer at Harrow Arts Centre, said: “We work together as a company and everyone is very friendly; it isn’t a scary process at all.

“The cast is always a great mix of people; students, working parents, retired people and of a wide range of ages so it’s a lot of fun and great way to meet new people as well as take part in a really exciting community project.”

The show follows last year’s production of Sleeping Beauty.

Auditions take place from 10am on Sunday, August 10, in the Belmont Room, and end at 5pm.

If you’re interested in getting involved, email Cate Gordan on cate.gordon@harrow.gov.uk for a registration form.

You can already buy tickets for the show, beginning on Thursday, December 18, by visiting Harrow Arts Centre’s website, www.harrowarts.com .
