A Fulham man is close to stardom after his band survived yet another week on X Factor.

Oriste Williams, of Wandsworth Bridge Road, is in boy band JLS, now the only band competing in the popular TV show after Girlband were knocked out on Saturday.

The show saw all competing pop star wannabes performing Michael Jackson songs with JLS performing a huge production of the 1987 hit 'The way you make me feel' that won them praise from all four judges, including a standing ovation from Louis Walsh.

After the young hopefuls' performance, Simon Cowell said: "If last week was six-and-a-half out of ten, this week was nine-and-a-half. It showed your personality. I really like you guys."

West Londoners were also impressed, with Linda Savage contacting the Chronicle to say JLS are 'so brilliant', adding: "A big production number and they carried it off like pros."

In an interview before the performance, Orise said he was keen to impress the eight 'hot' female dancers the group rehearsed and performed with.
